When his neighbor Ross (Matt Smith with a glorious mohawk) leaves town, Hank (Austin Butler) agrees to watch his cat. Unknown to him, there are several factions of malefactors that want to find something that Ross has stashed.
This was a very wild ride and I loved hanging on for it. Butler is always reliable and Smith rocked that mohawk like a true punk star The soundtrack was a-rockin’. All of the action (and there was a lot) was well enacted, and they managed to not try to overextend. Some genuine surprises — mostly unpleasant–kept me guessing. I also appreciate the lack of gory details; I’m getting kind of tired of that.
One BIG shoutout: Schreiber and D’Onofrio as a pair of Hassidic Hitmen. I could watch them all day.
I highly recommend this one, though probably not for the young kiddos. There is one mid-credits scene, but nothing after that, so you can steal on out and save your bladder.
