Thinking that maybe a wizard he knows can cast a spell that will make everyone forget he’s Spider-Man, he goes to see a friendly neighborhood sorceror he happens to know, one Doctor Strange. The good Doctor tries, but when his spell goes awry, the walls of the multiverse start opening up and letting in some of Spider-Man’s greatest enemies, who he has never met.

I used to think the Spider-Man 2 was the best of the Web-Slinger’s movies, but I have changed my opinion in favor of this one. There is more than enough drama, comedy and pathos to fill several movies; there are also some genuine and welcome surprises. Great cinematography, wonderful sound track and the best special effects in a Marvel Movie yet.

It’s a bit too long and there are a couple of parts that kind of drag, but when it takes off, it soars!

I highly recommend this one (whiich almost makes up for The Eternals); I might go see it again. There is one hilarious and portentious mid-credits scene and a post-credits scene which is actually a trailer for the next Doctor Strange movie.
