After fleeing her abusive husband, he is is found dead from an apparent suicide, and Cecilia starts thinking she is finally safe and can go ahead with her life. But mysterious things start happening around and to her and she realizes quickly that her husband is not letting her go.

This is one scary movie, and I was impressed that they didn’t rely on cheap shocks or gory explosions to create the terror they were going for. The director set up some genuine tension and you never knew exactly when it was going to break. Some expert use of camera angles and a sparse but effective score kept me gripping the armrests through much of the movie. And there was some well-deserved applause there near the end.

I highly recommend this one and I hope it creeps you out as much as it did me. There are no extra scenes after the credits roll.
