Despite warnings from everyone (and just about every iota of literature on the subject of time travel), Barry screams into the past and changes one thing to save his mother — which of course, causes catastrophic upheavals in the time stream. When will they learn? Even The Doctor wouldn’t approve of this.

Overall, I enjoyed the heck out of this movie. Despite his real life dramas, Ezra Miller is a great Flash. Michael Keaton once again proves he is the best Batman (fight me!) and I really hope to see more of Sasha Calle as Supergirl. The cinematography and the special effects were top-notch and the score pushed along the action with gusto.

However, I had some mixed feelings about some of the action sequences, especially the first big one. I thought it was silly and not as tense as it should have been. A lot of the big -bangin’ scenes seemed for more spectacle than stakes. And while I enjoyed the big spectacle at the end, I thought the VFX could have been done better; it looked rushed.

Overall, I’ll recommend this one; I had a good time. The kids should like it, although there is a lot of swearing for PG-13. There is a post-credits scene that is moderately funny, although my bladder didn’t think so.
