Ms Waller assembles the usual group of misfits and assholes and sends them to the island of Corto Maltese to stop a project that might threaten the United States. Why they need these guys is unclear, when The Justice League and its four hour setup should be able to handle this with no sweat. But, whatever.

There is some great acting here and some beautiful scenery, which is unfortunately often splattered with blood and gore. This movie is excessively and graphically gory, but I know some folks will like this. I did not. The action is way all over the place and relies too much on common memes. For instance, the building falling and falling and falling again. There’s really not that much new in this, but it’s always nice seeing Harley being at her murderous best.

I cannot in good conscience give this a recommendation. It overloaded my splatter-meter early on and kept on going. But if you sit it out, there is a post-credits scene.
