Running time: 8 Episodes

When the Hand sticks its fingers into the wrong pie, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, Daredevil and Luke Cage get involved, along with a plethora of guest stars and villains. Much punching ensues. Heads are lopped off. Feelings are hurt.

After months of anticip….ation, the binge-watching commences. I would recommend coffee or other caffeinated beverages; this is pretty slow sometimes. But once it gets going, it is pretty engrossing and if you want some kung fu fighting, you’ve come to the right place.  The story is a little droll and the acting is a bit dodgy sometimes and I had a feeling it was a bit rushed, but anything with Jessica Jones is worth watching. It will have been very helpful to have seen the other Netflix MCU series; they do not recap a lot.

I think this one would have worked better if it were five episodes to tighten it up; it felt a bit bloated.

Overall, I’d recommend this one, if you have the patience for Netflix dramas. There is a Punisher Teaser at the very, very, very end
Update: here that is:
