A pilot crashes into the waters of Themyista Theymascara…Paradise Island, and the rest of the world threatens to crash through with him. When Princess Diana finds out about the bloodshed happening outside her home, she is determined to kill Ares, who she blames as the source of all conflicts. So, she flees with the pilot to hunt down the God Of War.

Finally, DC comes through with a winner. Entertaining through every moment and scene, even when it gets a bit silly. Gal Gadot gives a riveting and profound performance as Princess Diana, who comes to find the world is more than she expected. Chris Pine is at his best as the charismatic but desperate patriot who never gives up. And Danny Huston is teeth-gnashlingly nefarious as the warrior who just won’t let it go.

The Amazons are glorious.

I’ll give this an unconditional recommendation. I did not see it in 3-D, and I do not remember any bits that would be improved by it. There are no post-credit scenes, so feel free to soldier out when they start.
