Deepwater Wind has finished construction on the nation’s first offshore wind farm.
The wind farm is expected to be fully operational this fall after testing is complete. The $300 million project is expected to power about 17,000 homes. It’s a small start, but Yay! for some more renewable, carbonless energy.
