The premise is something about, “two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.”
Bryan Singer, Simon Kinberg, Lauren Shuler Donner, Jeph Loeb, and Jim Chory are some of the names being tossed around as “involved”.
Fox Television CEO Dana Walden told SlashFilm at the TCAs that the show “will feature some iconic characters but mostly this is about a new family…an average family who encounters this extraordinary world and children who have mutant powers and they end up on the run, so it’s a little bit underground railroad in terms of a storytelling spine.”
