Title

10 Cloverfield Lane

Written by: Josh Campbell, Matthew Stuecken and Damien Chazelle

Directed by: Dan Trachtenberg

Starring: John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Gallagher Jr. and Bradley Cooper’s voice

Rated PG-13
Running time: 103 Mins

A woman has a serious car crash and comes to in a bunker with a couple of guys who say the world has ended and everyone else is dead.

If you want a taut thriller with lots of tension, you get that here…mostly. John Goodman is excellent as the Conspiracy Theorist who might or might not be right and Winstead and Gallagher are pretty good as the inmates. I found it got a little slow at times and the finale got really silly at one point. But, maybe that’s just me.

I’ll recommend this one, though mildly. There are no post-credit scenes, so do feel free to go and pee.

Flytrap rating: 7/10
