A CIA Agent is forced to team with his KGB counterpart in order to stop a nuclear threat.

This is an interesting interpretation of the ’60s series and I rather liked it. Cavill is a very good Solo, and though Hammer’s version of Illiya is kind of weird, I did buy into it. Lots of action and humor to keep it moving; this could be the start of a series of movies if this one does well.

I’ll recommend it. There is a wee bit of sex in it; the kiddos wouldn’t mind, but you might. The violence is very clean, so that won’t freak them out. No mid or post credit scenes.

Flytrap rating: 7.5/10
