Forgetting every lesson learned from the first film, a bazillionaire builds another dinosaur-themed amusement park. Life is not amused.

This film might have been great, had they written some interesting characters or went for some suspense. Instead we get Macho Dinosaur Trainer, Corporate Shill and Slimy Military Mogul as the leads. Oh, yeah, and the Clueless Capitalist with money but no sense. The kids were the best part of the film, which essentially used most of its time setting up people getting chased, chomped and stomped.

Still, this is some folks idea of a good time at the movies and the packed house I was in applauded it, so what do I know?

I can’t recommend this one; if you must see, take in a matinee. No post-credit scenes.

Flytrap rating: 6/10
