Title

3 Days To Kill

Written by: Adi Hasak, Luc Besson

Directed by: Luc Besson

Starring: Kevin Costner, Hailee Steinfeld, Amber Heard, Connie Nielsen, Marc Andréoni, Tómas Lemarquis, Richard Sammel

Rated PG-13
Running time: 117 Mins

When a secret agent finds out he is dying, he decides he want to spend his last days reconnecting with his wife and his daughter. When he is offered a chance at not dying, things get a little more complicated.

This was great fun. Costner plays his assassin with a low key, almost reluctant churlishness. Everyone was good, but a special shout out to Marc Andréoni as the much put-upon gangster/family man is in order. There is a very nice car chase, some good shootouts and enough fights to keep up the action level, and enough laughs to qualify this as a dark comedy.

All in all, I enjoyed myself. This is nothing special or thoughtful, really, but a good excuse to get out, eat some junk food and be entertained. No post credit scenes, so you can jet when ready.

Flytrap rating: 7/10
