When a small-time pot dealer is ripped off, his boss gives him a chance to pay it back by smuggling a wee bit of boo from Mexico. In order to appear as something other than a smuggler, he hires a few dicey accomplices to go with him.

Although there are plenty of yuks along the way here and everyone does their jobs well. A shout out to Aniston for a really well-done distraction-dance (I was buying it!) and the “kids” are pretty funny. But the writers really took no chances and everything was so predictable that that was no tension or edge to the film at all. This is too bad, as there were plenty of possibilities.

So I’d say, if you have an afternoon to spare, this wouldn’t be a bad way to spend it. There are some gag reels at the end that are worth a watch, but nothing after the credits.

Flytrap rating: 6.5/10
