After defeating the Le Dumas family’s attempts to murder her, Grace collapses and is rushed to the hospital where she is reunited with her younger sister. She barely has time to catch her breath before a new batch of looney Luciferists grab them both and force them to participate in a hunt. Then it gets weird.

The first one was a dark comedy/action movie that rarely slowed down and this one is a worthy successor. Weaver and Newton make a great team and I hope we see more of them. Shot beautifully with spirit and heart, there is a a lot to like here.

However, it does occasionally drag and the bad guys are drawn rather thinly; I really thought there were too many of them to keep track of.

Still, I’ll recommend this one, but I wouldn’t take the kids; it’s rather gory.. There were only about four minutes of credits, a trend I’d like to see continue and no post-credit scenes.
