The Royal Family of Attilan (who are some serious ass-hats), are forced to flee to Earth when Maximus (who is slightly less of an asshat) leads a coup against them.
I spent too much effort and too much money to drive to another town to see this in IMax, 81 minutes of wasted time. All of the Royal Family are unlikable and I could not feel any empathy with any of them, except maybe for Lockjaw, who was the coolest part of the show. This was supposed to be a movie, hence the IMax shots, but it got demoted to TV and for only eight episodes, so far, which shows how much confidence ABC has in it. I will be surprised if all of those air.
I cannot recommend this, certainly not for the expense of seeing it in IMax. If you MUST see it, wait for it to debut on TV.
