You should know up front that if you never watched Breaking Bad (and why not?), then you probably will not be able to relate much to the narrative here. But if you did, then you’ll probably get some thrill from this wrap-up of closure for Jesse. Beautifully shot and marvelously acted, it is a solid addition to the mythos of one of the best TV shows of all time.

However,  I am not a big fan of flashbacks. I feel that they destroy the narrative flow and are usually unnecessary filler. This one of full of them, especially dealing with Todd (Jesse Plemons, who is noticeably older and heavier than he was in the series). Also, a lot of scenes were shot very darkly and I had a bit of trouble viewing those; but that might just be my old eyes.

I’ll recommend this for fans of the TV series. There are no extra scenes after the credits start.
