Bricktown is now a post-apocalyptic ruin, invaders from space keep showing up and Lucy is Brooding. Emmet is as cheerful and optimistic as ever until an invader scoops up all of his friends and flies off with them. Can he rescue them?

I had a grin on my face for most of the time watching this — unless I was laughing out loud. Wonderful movie that manages to include and subvert so many cliches that I soon lost count. The cast gives their all to their characters, but a big shout out to Tiffany Haddish, as Queen Whatevra; she was mahvelous!

I’d say this is best of the Lego movies so far and I hope they keep up the trend. I did not see it in 3-D, but I’ll bet it works well. There are no mid or post credit scenes, and even though these were the most entertaining credits I’ve seen, they are also the longest at about 14 minutes, so be prepared for that.

EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!
