A year after the weirdness that was Season 1, Will starts having visions of what looks like the Upside Down. Eleven has escaped from there, but what has she been up to? And what is killing all the pumpkins?

I have to admit, the end of the first episode had me grinning from ear to ear. It never really got better than that. The kids are all still great and the Sheriff is grumpy and obnoxious and Mama Byers doesn’t freak out nearly as much. But some of the new faces are a not that appealing (except Paul Reiser, can’t miss with him). Dacre Montgomery’s character is really annoying and cliche.

I thought this one was at least one episode too long and it looks like they stuck in some stuff for filler. Seven episodes would have told this story better, but maybe that’s just me.

I’ll recommend this one.  Not as good as the first season, IMO, but I had fun bingeing it.
