While Peter Parker goes on a trip to Europe, a series of attacks by Elementals are being thwarted by Nick Fury and Mysterio, who coerce Spider-Man to assist them.

There is some grand fun here. This is a special effects laden story, and for once, needs to be. Everyone is great here, especially Holland, Zendaya. You have to pay a lot of attention, because this is very twisty and turney in its narration, but its worth the effort. Mysterio is done perfectly, which I thought would be nigh impossible, but the writers and director really understood the character.

There’s even some romance to spice up the interims.

I highly recommend this one; 2nd best Spider-Man movie (after Spider-Man 2, IMO.) There is a mid-credits scene and a post-credits scene.

Flytrap rating: 9/10
