A thief gets a second chance at redemption, but first he must put on the suit and become the Ant-Man!

I had a smile on my face the whole time I was watching this one. I really like the way they changed the usual Marvel format here (this is essentially a heist movie) and toned down the mass destruction we usually see. Excellent performances by everyone, but especially Michael Douglas as the retired superhero turned mentor. And kudos to the real stars: the Ants.

I highly recommend this one and for a change, I would say see it in 3D; it did make a difference. There is a mid-credits scene that should not be missed and a very interesting post-credits scene.

Flytrap rating: 8/10
