With the Capitol forces of PanAm becoming more aggressive, District 13 prepares to fight back and prepares Katniss to be the talisman of the revolution.

I really liked the first two; action-packed and non-stop momentum. I liked this one better. There is more legitimate drama, although less action. But never a slow spot, and bigger stakes. The attack on the hydroelectric plant was top-notch and Sutherland is at his menacing best. I was brought to tears more than once and that is something almost no movie ever does to me.

This one is less violent than the others, but it is so grim, the young kiddies might not like it. there is no post-credit scene, as such, but there is a post-credit…thing that I was happy I waited for.

Flytrap rating: 9/10
